Troubleshooting

At Vegas Infinite it is our goal to make sure every player has the best possible experience while playing the game. That being said, unfortunately sometimes issues do occur, we recommend you follow the steps to troubleshoot, or log an issue.

Our Customer Support team will attempt to assist you as quickly as possible and get the information over to our development team.

However, for some common issues, players may receive a faster outcome by troubleshooting themselves using the instructions provided in this article.

Connection Issues

  • Help! I cannot connect to the game/I am stuck at opening doors/I see three flashing dots on my screen!

  • Help, I can connect to the game but cannot connect to certain modes!

Troubleshooting

1. ) If you are on PC, verify that you meet the minimum hardware requirements for Vegas Infinite.

  • MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

  • Processor: Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater

  • Memory: 8 GB RAM

  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 480 or greater

  • Network: Broadband Internet connection

  • Storage: 7 GB available space

2. ) Uninstall Vegas Infinite completely and reinstall the software.
3. ) If on SteamVR, check the integrity of your game files.
4. ) Verify that you have the newest version of your video card graphics drivers.
5. ) Oculus or SteamVR may be forcing a higher than normal resolution or Super Sampling rate on Vegas Infinite. Verify that this is not the issue.
6. ) With Vegas Infinite closed, run the MinSettings.Bat file and re-open Vegas Infinite, forcing all graphical settings to a minimum. This file can be located here:

OCULUS: Oculus/Software/luckyvr-inc-pokerstars-vr/

STEAM: STEAM/steamapps/common/PokerStars VR/

7. ) Check your Windows Sounds settings, and disable any microphones you are not actively using.
8. ) Go to your NVIDIA Control Panel settings and under 3D Settings -> Manage 3d settings go to the top right and click Restore Defaults, and then Restore on the bottom right.

Easy Anti Cheat Issues

  • Help! Easy Anti Cheat isn't installed when I install Vegas Infinite so I cannot get into the game!

  • Help! EAC is blocking me from the game even though I am not a cheater!

Troubleshooting

We would kindly ask that you first please refer to Easy Anti Cheat's (EAC) troubleshooting guides on their website:

If you are unable to find a solution through EAC's guides, please try the following, this should force an install/repair of Easy Anti Cheat on your machine:

Windows 10

  • Toggle to one of the following locations:

    • FOR OCULUS: Oculus/Software/luckyvr-inc-pokerstars-vr/

    • FOR STEAM: STEAM/steamapps/common/PokerStars VR/

  • Find the folder titled “Easy Anti Cheat”

  • Enter the folder and verify you have the file titled ‘EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe’

  • Open a notepad file and create a file with the following text inside of it:

    • EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 82b6a49bb0404862bae3c554ce0d5dc8

    • Save the file inside the Easy Anti-Cheat folder as “EAC Install.bat” (it is necessary to change the file extension to .bat)

  • Close Vegas Infinite

  • Run the “EAC Install.bat” file by right clicking on it and running as an administrator

    • You will receive a prompt to install EAC, follow instructions to install

  • Attempt to enter Vegas Infinite as normal

Windows 11

  • Toggle to one of the following locations:

    • FOR OCULUS: Oculus/Software/luckyvr-inc-pokerstars-vr/

    • FOR STEAM: STEAM/steamapps/common/PokerStars VR/

  • Find the folder titled “Easy Anti Cheat”

  • Enter the folder and verify you have the file titled ‘EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe’

  • Close Vegas Infinite

  • In your address bar, type in “cmd” and press enter (it is necessary to run the cmd prompt directly from address bar in the Easy Anti-Cheat folder)

  • When the cmd window appears, type or paste .\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 82b6a49bb0404862bae3c554ce0d5dc8

    • You will receive a prompt to install EAC, follow instructions to install

  • Attempt to enter PokerStars VR as normal

VoiP (Voice over IP) Issues

  • Help! My VoiP doesn't work/I can’t talk to anyone/I can’t unmute myself

Troubleshooting

You may have muted yourself, please look for the microphone symbol on the inside of your wrist, on the strap on the watch. If it is crossed out, just tap it to unmute.

You may have been sanctioned for a violation of the terms of service. Check for more information here.

If you are playing on Steam, or on Quest linked to a PC make sure you are connected to the headset in your microphone settings.

Purchase Issues

  • I bought something from the in-game store and I didnt get it!

  • I bought something from the platform store and when I went into the game it wasn’t there!

  • I bought something as a gift for someone else and they didn't get it

  • I bought something as a gift for someone else and the declined, it didn't get returned to me

Troubleshooting

The best way to get to the bottom of Purchase Issues is to just contact us at our support center.

Unfortunately, we are discontinuing support for the original Meta Quest headset. To learn more about this please go here.

At this time we would be unable to provide assistance at the support level for any issues regarding this hardware. However we will escalate your issue to the development team, and if any new information arises, we will reopen this ticket and provide you with an update. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience.
