What’s happening?
The Vegas Infinite Random Number Generator, or RNG, has been re-certified by iTech Labs, part of Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), one of the leading accredited testing laboratories for online gaming worldwide.
Our new 2026 certificate replaces the one awarded by iTech Labs in 2019.
What is a random number generator and why do you need it?
A random number generator, or RNG, is a tool used within our game to guarantee that the shuffles, spins, dice rolls – any randomised feature – are delivered at random to all our players.
This keeps our games totally unpredictable, and it means they favour no particular player.
Who are Gaming Laboratories International?
Gaming Laboratories International, or GLI, is a world class testing, certification and professional services provider to the global gaming industry.
For more than 35 years GLI have helped ensure the integrity of the gaming industry, with clients that include gaming regulators, suppliers, and operators in 710+ jurisdictions all over the world.
GLI’s laboratory locations are found on six continents, and the company holds U.S. and international accreditations for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, 17020, and 17065 standards for technical competence in the gaming, wagering, and lottery industries.
You can find out more on GLI’s website, https://gaminglabs.com/.
Why do you have a certificate from GLI and iTech Labs?
GLI completed its acquisition of iTech Labs in 2023.
Why is an independent assessment important?
We want our players to know that the games they’re playing are random and impartial.
Allowing a totally independent laboratory to verify our RNG and assess the enormous amounts of gameplay data we’ve collected over the years provides that extra peace of mind.
Holding ourselves to these principles of fairness and transparency also helps to raise standards amongst developers all over the world. Everyone benefits, especially the players.
Which games in Vegas Infinite use the random number generator that was certified by GLI?
All our games, including poker, roulette, blackjack, craps, baccarat, and slots – use the same RNG that has been certified by GLI.
This is true across all the platforms Vegas Infinite is available on: Meta Quest, Steam, PlayStation, iOS and Android.
Because it’s the RNG itself and its results that are being certified, the certificate doesn’t list each game individually.
And when newer games are added, the randomised actions are powered by the same RNG.
The only games in Vegas Infinite that don’t use our RNG are sportsbook, where an RNG isn’t required, and certain games within our slots portfolio that are powered by trusted third-party providers. In every instance, these providers supply their own certified RNG.
Why have you updated your random number generator certification?
Lucky VR, the developer and software provider for Vegas Infinite, last certified the random number generator for Vegas Infinite in December 2019. iTech Labs found that our card sequences were unpredictable, non-repeatable and uniformly distributed.
The same has been true ever since. We haven’t made any changes to our random number generator. Our certificate held strong and still would have.
But we’re players ourselves, and we know how important the integrity of our games is to our community. So, we asked Gaming Laboratories International to analyse our random number generator and its results again.

Why does Vegas Infinite care about an RNG if I cannot cash out for real money?
Our model works because we’re invested in the long-term enjoyment of our players. We want everyone to feel confident that their time with us is well spent, so they keep coming back to enjoy more.
The integrity of our RNG is the foundation of that model.
Providing sequences that are truly random, truly non-repeatable and uniformly distributed means everyone is treated equally. It means we’re able to deliver a truly competitive and authentic poker and casino experience that players trust.
A truly random game means skilled players can hone their strategies, new players stick around and learn without feeling like the odds are stacked against them, and the action stays dynamic and exciting.
An RNG that is anything less than perfect would undermine the foundations of our business and the reputation we’ve built over more than 7 years in the game.
Why does it sometimes feel like the odds are stacked against me?
We’ve all been there! Sometimes it feels like the game hasn’t gone to plan. Your opponent always hits the river, or that one player always doubles up at roulette when they’re almost out of Chips.
Those bad beats and losses sting the most and it can feel like patterns are emerging.
But we all know that variance and confirmation bias can have a powerful effect. It’s human nature.
Remember, one player’s bad luck is another player’s good luck. Over time, with the proper RNG in place, everyone’s experience is the same.
That’s why our community has chosen us for years and years. Our games are totally random and favour no particular player. So you can relax and enjoy the game.
But don’t just take our word for it. You can check out our certificate any time.
